Catching up
...and catching my breath
Okay, it’s been a minute since I have really posted something here. Time to make it official and begin writing again.
My news?
I have managed to find a group of poems to expand on. And with it, the ability to create more poems to coincide with them. Ultimately, I have been able to make a small book of my work. I have managed to do this while juggling a 20-page research paper that needed more attention than I could provide for anything else this term.
It’s been a lesson. It’s been an undertaking. It’s been the challenge that I have been looking to get me back on my feet. And it seriously feels like a “Yay me!” moment I have been wanting to give myself for a while, while I have been going through the doldrums of traditional education in English.
And you know what?
I want to do it again!
I know, I’m not even 100% published on project yet, and I want to go through this process again. It feels like it is my life purpose complete.
Anyway, I will update more when I get things finalized.
